C. Richter, H. Allert, D. Divotkey, J. Hemmecke - Tools for excellent research and teaching: A design-oriented perspective (workshop) - Digital Media - Tools for Excellent Research and Teaching, Wien, Austria, 2012, pp. 58-59
The workshop explores the question where the tools for excellent research and teaching come from and what pedagogical psychology, education research and pedagogics could and do contribute. The authors of the workshop offer three theses for discussion: (1) the characteristic qualities of digital tools evolve only in their use, (2) the use of digital tools is strongly dependent on the established media ecologies and practices of users, and (3) in order to support innovative forms of learning and research a design oriented approach in psychology and education is needed.
