MRH - Mechatronics based Rehabilitation at Home

The basic approach of this project is to investigate the increase of overall quality, efficiency and effectiveness of physiotherapy to be achievable by introducing mechatronics based rehabilitation equipment designed for use by patients at home under remote supervision by therapists and medical specialists and so reducing the number of repetitive visits to or from therapists. Investigations into the possibilities of this type of advanced medical equipment will also give rise to new business opportunities for SME´s.

The main objective is to compose a "white book" on the different aspects of the MRH-concept from the obtained results of the project for regional policymakers, companies and authorities providing health and social care.
