Human Interfaces & Virtual Environments
The group "Human Interfaces & Virtual Environments" (HIVE) has extensive and long-standing expertise in research and development in the field of human-computer interaction, data visualization as well as virtual and augmented reality. The research group deals with the design and technical implementation of novel digital tools for the visualization, exploration or manipulation of data and processes. For this purpose, natural interaction techniques and intuitive display methods are developed and evaluated for various fields of application, e.g. production data visualization on interactive walls, visualization of biological or logistic networks in virtual reality or new media for digital teamwork.
