Beschreibung:

Das Media Interaction Lab (MIL) beschäftigt sich mit natürlichen Interaktionsverfahren zwischen Mensch und Computer (Interactive Environments), der Erweiterung von Kommunikations- und Wahrnehmungsprozessen (Augmented and Mixed Reality), der Entwicklung neuer Visualisierungsmöglichkeiten und der Gestaltung von Benutzerschnittstellen (Next Media Interfaces).

Das im Oktober 2008 gestartete Austrian Research Studio NiCE (Natural User Interfaces for Collaborative Environments) arbeitet an der Entwicklung von interaktiven Oberflächen, dem Design neuartiger grafischer Benutzerschnittstellen und Rendering Methoden speziell für große interaktive Displays, der Anwendung moderner Interaktionstechniken und der Evaluierung von natürlichen Benutzerschnittstellen.
